There's no denying Selena Gomez's range as a performer. She began her acting career at the tender age of seven on the popular children's program Barney & Friends, which will be the subject of a documentary airing on Peacock in 2022. Her breakthrough came, however, when she signed with Disney and went on to star in a number of movies and television shows, most notably Wizards of Waverly Place, in addition to guest-starring roles in Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. In order to win over Nina Pennington (Selena Gomez), the most beautiful and well-liked girl at his high school, Rick Stevens (Nat Wolff) would do anything. But in order to get there, he had to deal with some tricky situations and oddball characters, and his own poor decision-making.
In Behaving Badly, Nat Wolff, Selena Gomez, and Austin Stowell adapted Ric Browde's novel While I'm Dead Feed the Dog for the big screen under the direction of Tim Garrick. Unfortunately, it wasn't well received. In fact, the audience rating was only 29%, and critics gave it a score of 0% on Rotten Tomatoes' Tomatometer.

Courtney Solomon's Getaway was an adaptation of the 1972 film The Getaway, and it followed the story of Brent Magna (Ethan Hawke), a racing car driver who is sent on a mission after his wife is abducted. All he had was a young hacker (Selena Gomez) to rely on, and the only way to save his wife was to carry out the instructions of a mysterious voice monitoring their every move via cameras in the car. Over 130 cars were destroyed during filming, making it clear that all of the crash scenes in the film are authentic.
