It's Millie Bobby Brown.

Millie Bobby Brown is a British actress and producer who was born on February 19, 2004. She became well-known for her role as Eleven in the Netflix science fiction series Stranger Things (2016-present), for which she was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards [1, 2]. Brown has starred as the title character in both Godzilla movies, Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). Moreover, she starred in and produced the Netflix mystery films Enola Holmes (2020) and its sequel (2022).

At the age of 29, Brown was the youngest person ever appointed as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, and she was featured on Time's 2018 list of the 100 most influential people in the world. [5]

Early life

Brown, the third of four children born to British parents Kelly and Robert Brown, an estate agent, was born in Marbella, Málaga, Spain,[6] on February 19, 2004[7]. She had some hearing loss in her left ear from birth, and it got progressively worse over the years. When she was four, she and her family relocated back to England, settling in Bournemouth. When she was eight, they uprooted again, this time to Orlando, Florida. [11]

Career

Beginning parts and Stranger Things, 2013–2017

Brown made her acting debut as Young Alice on the 2013 episode of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, an ABC fantasy drama series and spin-off of Once Upon a Time. In 2014, she played the lead role of Madison O'Donnell on the BBC America supernatural drama-thriller series Intruders. She has appeared in episodes of Grey's Anatomy (ABC), Modern Family (CBS), and NCIS (CBS) as a guest star. [13][14]

Brown got the part of Eleven in the Netflix horror-science fiction series Stranger Things in 2016. She was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work, which was met with widespread critical acclaim (see references [15] and [16]). After that, she and her co-stars won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series[17] and the 43rd Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series. [18] She was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Primetime Emmy for her performance as Eleven in the second season of Stranger Things. [19]

Brown appeared in the music video for Sigma and Birdy's November 2016 release "Find Me." She has been promoting Citigroup, a multinational financial services corporation, in commercials since November 2016. Her first major modeling gig was for Calvin Klein's "By Appointment" campaign in January of 2017. She signed with IMG Models the following month [21]. In the summer of 2018, Brown was featured in a campaign for the Italian clothing company Moncler. Aside from that, Brown has graced the cover of Vogue on multiple occasions [23]. [24]

2018–present

She has a speaking role in Darren Aronofsky's VR album Spheres: Songs from Spacetime. Time magazine named her one of the world's 100 most influential people in 2018, making her the youngest person to ever make the list. [25] [26][27] Additionally, Time magazine recognized her as a 2017 and 2018 Most Influential Teen. She made history that year by becoming the youngest person to serve as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, [28][29]. The Sims 4 Positivity Challenge, on which Brown worked with The Sims 4 developers, was announced by EA Games on March 30. The Hollywood Reporter listed Brown as one of the top 30 young actors and actresses in Hollywood in 2018. [32]

In 2019, Brown made her debut in a full-length film with Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the sequel to Godzilla (2014). She returned for Godzilla vs. Kong (2021), the sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong. In [34], she was named an official spokesman for UEFA's Together #WePlayStrong initiative. When Brown debuted her own beauty line, "Florence by Mills," in 2019, [35] it was a huge success. It can be purchased from Boots in the United Kingdom, Walmart in the United States, and Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada. In 2020, Brown starred in and produced a movie based on The Enola Holmes Mysteries. [36][37][38][39][40][41] [42]

Brown earned $10 million in 2022 for returning to her role as Enola Holmes in the sequel Enola Holmes 2. In the same year, [43][44] she was also named a Louis Vuitton brand ambassador. [45][46]

Brown will next be seen in Damsel, a fantasy film directed by Spanish filmmaker Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and written by Dan Mazeau, and produced by Netflix. She'll also be featured in The Electric State, a film adaptation of Simon Stlenhag's graphic novel of the same name, directed by the Russo brothers. [48]

Private matters

After being cast in Stranger Things at age 12, Brown shot to fame. For example, [49] when Brown was only 14 years old, homophobic quotes falsely attributed to her began to circulate on social media as memes, prompting her to leave Twitter altogether to escape the abuse she was receiving. [50] She has been subjected to social media users' and articles' sexualization of her in addition to online bullying. A 16-year-old Instagram post celebrating her birthday in 2020 was captioned, "There are moments I get frustrated from the inaccuracy, inappropriate comments, sexualization, and unnecessary insults that ultimately have resulted in pain and insecurity for me." When Brown turned eighteen in February 2022, users began posting sexually explicit content to her social media accounts, as shown in [51]. [52]

Brown has been dating actor Jake Bongiovi, the son of Jon Bon Jovi, since 2021. [53]

In August of 2022, she enrolled in Purdue University's online health and human services program. [54]
