Here Are the Top 15 Nickelodeon Shows of the 2000s (Based On IMDb Ratings)

If you're like me, Nickelodeon was as important to your upbringing as Cartoon Network and Disney Channel. There were a few shows from the 2000s that everyone loved. Some of these memories have stuck with you well into your adult years. Fans were devastated by the cancellation of shows like Zoey 101, which helped define an entire generation.

There are a number of classic live-action series that have fans who are now adults who still watch them repeatedly. So many successful Nickelodeon programs aired during that time period that keeping track of them all would be an impossible task. No worries If you're looking to reminisce, here are the top ten Nickelodeon shows of the 2000s.

Gabriela Silva's December 3, 2020 edit: Nickelodeon is responsible for the creation of a number of popular kids' shows, many of which feature comedic and occasionally dramatic teen plotlines. For the sake of watching their favorite shows, kids would beg their parents to let them stay up an extra hour in front of the television. Zoey 101, which only averaged a 6 on Metacritic, was a huge hit in the 2000s. 1 It's hard to forget the decade of the 2000s. Although the decade's fashion choices were questionable, the decade's television shows were widely hailed as successes.

Flop: (2004), 6, not fabulous 1

Emma Roberts as Addie in Unfabulous

The plot of Unfabulous followed a pattern that was common in 00's media. The show centered on a young teenager having social difficulties at school. Despite her best efforts, she consistently experienced social embarrassment. Composing music was the only outlet she had.

When it first premiered, the show was a huge success, and it quickly rose to the ranks of the network's most-watched programs among its target demographic of young adults. Everything from catchy tunes to teenage angst to a focus on the object of one's affection was present. Even platonic love between BFFs?

A lot of people have a soft spot for iCarly. When you think about it now, you realize the show had some weird inconsistencies, but that didn't stop you from watching it. Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) had an insatiable desire for the pear-shaped iPhone equivalent, and it's hard to forget.

Carly Shay, Sam Puckett (Jennette McCurdy), and Freddie Benson (Nathan Kress) are three best friends who create a web series called iCarly. Due to their unusual cooking techniques, celebrity guests, and dance breaks, they quickly become an internet sensation. They deal with the usual adolescent concerns of crushes, academics, and life's stresses

A still from the Jimmy Neutron pilot

Jimmy Neutron's (Debi Derryberry) purple mega-candy was the talk of the town, and everyone wished it existed. One of those shows that did well with viewers was Jimmy Neutron. Jimmy Neutron, 11, is a boy genius and inventor, but his creations almost never work out the way he imagines.

School, bullies, and punishment from parents are just a few of the everyday challenges he faces as a kid. Whenever Jimmy and his pals Sheen (Jeffrey Garcia) and Carl (Rob Paulsen) set out on an adventure, it always seems to end in disaster.

Amanda Byne poses on The Amanda Show

There was a lot of laughter and fun on The Amanda Show, which was chaotic and bizarre. Amanda Bynes and other well-known Nickelodeon actors like Drake Bell and Nancy Sullivan starred in a live-action comedy skit. Show within a show; a meta-show

In one sketch, Amanda Bynes played the host of a TV show that frequently transitioned to comedic skits performed by other actors. A parody of Judge Judy and a teenage girl named Courtney, who was, to put it mildly, a peculiar character, were two of the most well-received sketches. Her catchphrase "Meh Ha!" was extremely popular. "

Rocket Power , Nickelodeon 2000s Shows IMDb

Some people may have hazy memories of the Rocket Power television show that aired on Nickelodeon. Rocket Power's audience finds common ground in the show's focus on friendship and the difficulties of coming of age. The series follows four close friends as they go about their regular lives.

Joseph Ashton plays Oswald "Otto" Rocket, Shayna Fox plays his wife Reggie, Gary LeRoi Gray and Sam Saletta play Sam "Squid" Dullard, and Ulysses Cuadra plays Oswald's brother Maurice "Twister" Rodriguez. They occupy their time with dangerous sports and the normal stresses of life.

Jenny looking at a present with shock in My Life As A Teenage Robot

Yes, even artificial beings struggle through their adolescence. Starting in 1999, the show aired for three full seasons before being cancelled in 2007. Rob Renzetti made an animated superhero/fantasy show. Renzetti has also directed episodes of popular Cartoon Network shows like "The Power Puff Girls" and "Dexter's Laboratory."

A robot named XJ-9 was the show's main character. Still, she felt more at ease in conventional society if everyone called her Jenny. Many people followed her exploits as she saved the world while still being a typical teenager. There's more adolescent drama than in any sitcom or non-animated show.

Justin Taylor played by Brandon Gilberstadt

It's unusual to have a furry friend who can also communicate with you. The main character of the sitcom 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd isn't human, at least not any more. School bully Eddie McDowd didn't care that much about the consequences of his actions.

On a fateful day, he meets a mysterious man who informs him of his need to make amends. Eddie becomes a dog and must perform 100 acts of kindness to return to human form. The show was abruptly canceled before its storyline had a chance to conclude.

There had never been a hero like Danny Phantom before, and he was a huge success with the audience. The series follows Danny Fenton, a 14-year-old boy who, after a freak accident involving a portal between the human world and the "Ghost Zone," becomes a human-ghost hybrid. "

He battles ghosts who threaten his town and the world with the help of his supernatural abilities and his two best friends, Sam Manson (Grey DeLisle) and Tucker Foley (Rickey D'Shon Collins). Sam Mason, with her distinctive goth style, even became a popular cosplay character.

Fairly Odd Parents still

"Dumb, a rubber goose, a green moose, a glass of guava juice, a slithering snake, a birthday meal, a bucket of french fries, and to the memorable tune of "Theme from The Fairly Odd Parents." Timmy Turner (Tara Strong) is the star of the show, and Wanda (Susanne Blakeslee) and Cosmo (Daran Norris) are his fairy godparents who grant all of his wishes.

Although Timmy took advantage of his fairy godparents on occasion, you still felt sorry for him. So that Timmy's miserable existence can be ameliorated, he is bestowed with fairy godparents. There are times when having the ability to make whatever wish you want and getting out of any situation easily backfires and makes things worse. The show aired on Nickelodeon for a long time and had more episodes than any other show there.

Moze and Cookie with Ned on Ned's Declassified

Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide is one of those books whose quality you don't fully appreciate until you're an adult. Each season of the show represented a different grade in school for three best friends who starred in the show. When Ned Bigby (Devon Werkheiser) is teaching the audience a "survival guide" and "tips" for getting through middle school, he breaks the fourth wall.

Middle school is a time of great upheaval, and Ned, Jennifer "Moze" Mosely (Lindsey Shaw), and Simon "Cookie" Nelson-Cook (Daniel Curtis Lee) try to make sense of it all. Fans of the show will recall the unforgettable Jimmy Toot-Toot (Kelli Miyata).

Lindsay Felton as Caitlin

Despite the fact that some viewers may not recognize the show as being a throwback, it will undoubtedly be enjoyable. Three seasons of the 2000s teen drama Caitlin's Way were produced. The Nickelodeon series was filmed in Canada and originally broadcast there. The show's tone is more serious and realistic than that of its competitors.

Lindsay Felton's character, Caitlin, is a troubled teen who has been cast in the role of a homeless street kid. As a result of her arrest, she must decide between youth detention and living with a cousin of her mother. Caitlin's journey is one of self-discovery and redemption. The sudden death of her mother has left an emotional scar on her.

Drake and Josh

As opposed to other Nickelodeon shows, Drake & Josh has become a true classic. It was popular when it was released and it remains popular today. Social media users fondly recall the antics of the diametrically opposed duo. Megan (Miranda Cosgrove) is another important character. Dan Schneider, who also produced The Amanda Show, is credited with creating this series.

Among the show's main characters were Drake Bell and Josh Peck. In the beginning, these two stepbrothers can't stand each other and are constantly in trouble. While Drake is a well-known and well-liked musician, Josh is socially awkward and has trouble attracting female companionship. They're always getting into hilarious misadventures. And do it while navigating the challenges of adolescence!

Although Spongebob Squarepants has seemingly been airing for as long as anyone can remember, the show actually debuted in 1999 and is still going strong. The show is Nickelodeon's all-time ratings champ and the fifth longest running animated series ever.

Tommy Kenny's Spongebob Squarepants is a happy-go-lucky sea sponge from Bikini Bottom who loves Krabby Patties. A close friend and neighbor named Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke) also shares his home in the famous pineapple house with him and his snail named Gary. Underwater, he and his pals have the most exciting adventures.

Zim voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz

A lot of people love the dark humor of Invader Zim. The protagonist isn't necessarily supposed to be the good guy in this show. Zim, an alien from another world, comes to Earth to conquer it and enslave its inhabitants.

In spite of the show's low ratings during its run, which ultimately led to its cancellation, it has since become a beloved cult favorite. Many of the show's adult fans appreciate the show's sardonic humor and central character.

Many attempts have been made to adapt the Avatar story, and they have all failed. Not one has been able to top Avatar: The Last Airbender, a Nickelodeon series that first aired in 2005. The story, visual effects, characters, and music in this show were all highly regarded. It received high marks for its ability to engage young people while discussing weighty topics like genocide, war, and totalitarianism.

Twelve-year-old Aang (Zach Tyler Eisen) is the last of the Air Nomads and the one who is destined to become the Avatar, the one who can control the elements to his will. The Fire Nation, in a world divided by the elements, declared war on the other nations. Aang, who had been in stasis for years, wakes up to help Sokka (Jack DeSena) and Katara (Mae Whitman) put an end to the Fire Nation.
